Set in beautiful woodland near Crew, Whirligig Woods offers a unique space to develop creativity. Surround yourself with nature, be inspired by the beautiful woodland and let your senses spill into your writing.
Following a warm welcome to the communal gathering area the morning workshop will begin at 10.30. This will explore writing through the senses.
A delicious lunch will ensure our minds and body are fed ready for the second part of the workshop in the afternoon.
There will also be a general writing Q and A.
The day will finish at 4.30pm.
The Whirligig Woods is an outdoor venue but there are several covered areas and a firepit should the weather be inclement. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear as the ground of the woodland may be uneven in places. As it’s May we dare to hope for sun!
There are compostable toilets on site accessible by two steps. These are beautifully clean and ensure no nasty chemicals are allowed into the area.
Regular milk, sugar, tea, coffee and Rooibos tea will be supplied throughout the day.
There is a water tap so bring your water bottle and top up during the day.
£35 for TAUK Publishing authors or Extra Slice of Lennon group members
