Jolabokaflod is the Icelandic tradition of giving books on Christmas Eve. Once presents have been exchanged and the Christmas meal eaten, families sit in front of the fire drinking hot chocolate while they read their books. I don’t know about you, but I think that sounds pretty perfect!
