Working Partners

I enjoy collaborating and working with other businesses and organisations. Here are some of the people I work with on a regular basis.

TAUK Publishing

Originally set up by Sue Miller as Team Author UK to support Indie Authors with publishing, it is now run by Estelle Maher.  I have used this service for the majority of my books and I'm proud to be part of the team. As part of the TAUK Publishing core team, I look after Author Development and provide the following services

  • Writing courses for adults
  • Preparing for an Author Visit course
  • Writing Retreats
  • Mentoring

Please see for more information.

Dream High

For the last few years, I have been part of the Business Support Panel at Dream High Ltd. This organisation provides business support for start ups and small businesses. They were extremely helpful when I first started running my business, so it's nice to give something back.

Liverpool Literacy Cycle

I am part of the core planning team for this initiative set up by Cllr Barbara Murray in 2019. Originally named the Liverpool Year of Reading, it morphed into the Literacy Cycle with each year focusing on a different aspect of literacy. The cycle includes Year of Reading, Year of Writing and Year of Spoken Word. Literacy levels are low across parts of the city and Cllr Murray wanted to address this. The idea of each year is to support, promote, encourage and provide a range of literacy activities across the City Region which will help to improve literacy standards. With better literacy standards the population has better mental health and better opportunities. I'm proud to be part of it.

Write Blend

Although not strictly a partner, I do hold all my book launches here. Owner Bob Stone is hugely supportive of Indie Authors and is always coming up with new initiatives to support them. Write Blend is also the first place I direct any new authors to if they are looking for places to stock their book.
