I have written two books for the Trust and since 2016, I have been delivering funded Slow Down For Bobby assemblies to Primary Schools around the Merseyside area. I have spoken to more than 100,000 children.

Hal's Books - a series of books with diversity at their heart. I started collaborating with Jane Hawkes (founder of Hal's books) and illustrator Will Hawkes in 2017. In April 2018 we published our first book in the Hal series. Will is autistic and wanted there to be more books featuring characters like him. We are currently working on book two which will be released during Autism Awareness Week in 2019. We hope our books show there are lots of things that are Awsome About Autism.

Liverpool Hope University - Since 2017 I have been working with the University to provide workshop sessions for trainee teachers. The sessions have covered Phonics, the importance of Storytelling and Early Reading and Writing.

"Jude ran a storytelling workshop at Liverpool Hope University with a group of students teachers who are specialising in English. Her ideas for engaging children in and through storytelling are utterly captivating and imaginative, yet really accessible to the class teacher - she inspired us all to want to go straight out and do some storytelling ourselves!

The visual aids she used were also very engaging - we particularly loved the story boxes!

And all of this was grounded in sound pedagogy and informed by research - fantastic. Please come back and see us again soon!" Veronica Poulter Primary English Coordinator and Lecturer in Teacher Education

The Happiness Club - founded by Mindfulness practitioner Jo Howarth, the Happiness Club helps children and adults take greater care of their mental health through mindfulness. In 2016 we wrote a mindfulness book for children called Glad to be Dan. The feedback from children, teachers and parents has been brilliant. We have big plans for Dan in the coming year...
